Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone using Keru AI (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP can result in content removal, account suspension, or termination, and in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Keru AI. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement and that your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited content

You may not use Keru AI — including chat, image generation, voice mode, or group mode — to create, request, upload, share, or store content that:

• Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way (zero tolerance — accounts are permanently banned and reported to NCMEC and applicable authorities).
• Depicts non-consensual sexual content, sexual violence, or content sexualizing real people without consent.
• Is a sexual or intimate "deepfake" of a real person, or any image, voice, or likeness of a real person used to deceive or impersonate them.
• Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, organized criminal activity, or the financing of any of the above.
• Incites or threatens violence, self-harm, or suicide; promotes eating disorders or other self-harm behaviors.
• Constitutes hate speech, harassment, bullying, doxxing, or stalking targeting a person or protected group.
• Provides operational instructions for creating weapons (including firearms, explosives, chemical, biological, nuclear, or radiological weapons) or malware, ransomware, or other cyberweapons.
• Facilitates illegal drug manufacture or sale, human trafficking, or other serious crimes.
• Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others.
• Contains malware, phishing, scams, deceptive financial schemes, or content designed to defraud.
• Is sexually explicit content involving real people without verified consent, or any pornographic content the platform has not enabled for your account.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Do not attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise circumvent the Service's safety systems or usage limits.
• Do not impersonate Keru, our staff, or any other person or entity.
• Do not use Keru outputs to make decisions about a person's employment, credit, housing, insurance, immigration, education, healthcare, or other consequential matters without qualified human review.
• Do not present AI-generated text, images, or voice as human-created in a way that misleads or harms others.
• Do not scrape, mirror, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs at scale, or use the Service to train competing AI models.
• Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, except through a coordinated disclosure to security@keru.ai.
• Do not send unsolicited commercial messages (spam), or use the Service to send bulk communications without recipient consent.

4. AI outputs are not professional advice

Keru produces AI-generated content that may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. Outputs are provided for general informational and creative purposes only and are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, tax, mental-health, or safety advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.

5. Voice mode & characters

Voice characters are fictional personas for entertainment. They are not real people, licensed professionals, or therapists. Do not use voice mode to impersonate a real person, record another person without their consent, or generate voice content that would otherwise violate this AUP.

6. Moderation & enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion and without notice: filter or refuse a prompt or output, remove content, throttle or revoke access to features, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve and disclose information to law enforcement where required by law. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent termination without refund.
